Gerbils aren't the most popular pets where I live, but even so, the pet stores (my only souce, since there are no registered breeders anywhere near here) seem to keep a good variety of colors. I've seen agouti, black, PEW, DEH, nutmegs, argente golden, argente cream, lilac, dove, and spotted, pied, and mottled of most of those colors, especially black and dove/lilac. My Tweek, who is either Honey Cream or a spotted light nutmeg, and his mother, are the only two of their color I've ever seen around here.
On the other hand, colorpoints are extremely rare and the gg colors like gray agouti, slate, etc. are nonexistant.
So, what colors can you easily find in your area and which are more elusive?

Before I started breeding, only agouti, black, argente golden/cream and lilac/dove were available. There were some spotted gerbs and occasionally pied ones, but no mottling. Then I introduced siamese, burmese, and cp slate into the area. But at this point, because I no longer breed, those colours are not available.

I can only say what colours I have seen over the last few months. I try to stay away from the petshops as the temptation is often too much.
Around here I have seen: Golden Agouti Black Lilac/Dove/Sapphire Slate Burmese Grey Agouti White Bellied Cream (Ivory cream) An ee gerbil, it was young and so I couldn't tell whether it was DEH or Nutmeg at the time. Now I know more I would've been able to distinguish... I doubt it was a Schimmel as e(f) is very rare. PEW or REW Argente Cream and Argente Golden. CP and LCP Golden Agouti.
Phew, I think that's about it.
There aren't many ee I don't think, atleast I have never seen any since that one and only one (but that is at a petshop that's two bus journeys away so I don't go often). obviously not many have them yet and so they aren't being spread so much.

Where I live in Alabama (USA), I've seen: Agouti Black Lilac/Dove/Sapphire Siamese Argente Golden Grey agouti (rare) Nutmeg CP Agouti Slate (rare) Spotted versions of these gg gerbils seem fairly rare here. I've seen maybe one slate and two grey agoutis. I don't think I've seen a burmese, though I've seen a couple siamese. I did find one schimmel!! A very rare find. Had to buy her. Also, I've never seen a very mottled gerbil at the local petstores. PEW/REW also seem to be rare, oddly enough.
