I know that colorpoints are more sought-after in general than a lot of the other colors, but the colorpoints I hear about most often are siamese and burmese. Does anyone know if CP agoutis and/or LCP agoutis have a similar demand, or do they tend to be harder to place?
Any help would be appreciated! ;D

Hey M, It depends on where you are and what the demand is. How long have you been breeding? How have you placed your pups?
I think that coulor points are more easily placed. If you are placing pups with friends/relatives then I am sure that they will be used to your gerbils and may not know what different types there are. Is the placing homes well educated about gerbils and know the different types available?

I think the cp agoutis are really cute! If only people knowledgeable about colours come to adopt, however, I don't know if they will likely be passed over or not .

I would think that a classic siamese, burmese or colourpoint slate would be more sought after as it is a very dramatic look to the gerbil. The shading is very striking and handsome. The colourpoint agouti's look much more subtle.
