Yes, I'm doing the same thing in Canada. By sheer good luck I took a teacher's classroom gerbil for the summer and bred her. She was a light apricot, with gg and ee so I now have her pups breeding. I am hopeful about getting these colours started in Western Canada! Apparently the closest you can purchase these colours is Saskatchewan. I also noticed an unusual colour gerbil in a pet store and bought her, bred her and am now breeding her pups. I am getting Burmese, Colourpoint and PEW pups now! So everything from scratch (from the beginning) for me. I guess it makes a good hobby.

Maybe it is possible to breed colorpoint brother with sister ? Isnn't it bad for theirs pups genetic ?
