I have a heavily mottled slate female, Fate (aa C- E- gg Pp Spsp) I'm pretty sure she doesn't carry recessive C or E. I'm debating who to pair her with, both males come from the same breeder and have great temperments. I can buy a show champion mottled golden agouti (A- C- Ee G- P- Spsp) Who has at least 50% chance of carrying a 66.6% chance of carrying cb or ch 50% chance of carrying g 25-50% chance of carrying p Or a Spotted gray agouti ( A- C- E- gg P- Spsp) Who has at least 50% chance of carrying a 50-66.6% chance of carrying cb 66.6 % chance of carrying e at least 25% chance of carrying p. If I get the worst possible combo's, I think it's better to go with the gray agouti, if I get lucky with the genes, I think the golden agouti would be better- plus all the pups would be more heavily pied either way. I really want a male carrying cb and p so I can get topaz and argente pups. ;D I have both of their lineages back to their great great great grandparents - they're from a lot of famous clans (ie: ABC, BWC, GT, PKK, CCG, URG, NYG, UR, TDC, Hillbilly) Thanks for your help!! ;D
