lol... in reply to your question (gets up, goes to the other room to start counting...) 29 (soon to be 30) adults, and between 30 and 40 pups of all ages. I sold 8 yesterday, and will sell 8 next week (they are promised for) so I'm doing good on my addiction, really! I have a number of adult same sex pairs I am ready to rehome (retired breeders, rescues) so I'm praying for some kids to come get'em!

Wow that's a lot of gerbils! Is Gumba the soon-to-be gerbil? I have 25 pups right now, between 4-46 days of age, but the oldest ones are all reserved, thank goodeness. I was planning on finding homes for all the pups...lol, but now I'm addicted to the mottled black boy from Fate's litter, and the honey cream girl from Peppers There goes that plan ;D

Sigh...I know what you mean, I have so many beautiful colours in pups now, I just want to keep 'em...but I can't! I am maxed out, with Gumba coming in last! Dear me, what shall I do if I have an opportunity for a schimmel? I really have to move on some of these adult rescues! There are: Gabriel & Brownie, 2 mature males that had been in a classroom but have been returned, Brownie is Agouti and Gabriel a Sapphire. Slesse and Rascal, who are a Black and a Topaz: and Yale and Rainer, Black and Agouti males under a year old:

No, he does not have dark eyes, his are red but the photograph didn't happen to catch the light in them. That's actually the way most ruby eyed gerbils look in life--its just flash that makes them look so red eyed.
If you really want a grey gerbil with black eyes, try looking for a Siamese.
