I was wondering if my gerbils are sisters, because they came from a pet store. Since I have no clue about the gerbil genetics business, is it possible to have 2 DEHs and 1 Black in a litter? And is it possible to have an Argente Golden Spotted, a Black, and a Siamese in one litter? Just curious.

Sure it's possible example dad: Agouti (Aa CC Ee GG PP) Mom: Nutmeg (aa CC ee GG PP) Pups: DEH (Aa CC ee GG PP) Black (aa CC Ee GG PP) Agouti (Aa CC Ee GG PP) Nutmeg (aa CC ee GG PP) It's less likely the next colors are siblings, but still possible Parents: Aa Ccb EE GG Pp X aa Cch EE GG pp (Agouti and Dove) Pups: Argente Golden Siamese Black Agouti Argente Cream PEW Topaz Lilac Sapphire lcp agouti Even if they aren't siblings, it's possible they're related some other way, as most of the gerbils probably come from the same breeder/breeders. Could be niece/cousins or something even if they're not direct siblings. How many gerbils do you have?

4-5 Months: Mini-Me = Black Honey (We call her Battle Axe) = a lighter colored DEH Squeaky = DEH

I'm sorry Sandy passed away do you know what happened? You have some nice colors, I don't have any red-eyed gerbils right now (except my DTW, but he carries P so won't pass on red-eyes to any pups). It's awesome you were able to find them in petstores, here they only carry black, agouti with the occasional lilac.

Well, Sandy's cage was left open, she got out, then fell down an open A/C vent. I was very lucky to find them in the petstore, especially my siamese, Burkie.
