it's probably golden agouti then mind you, the people at P@H called my spotted argente (argente is a bright orange colour!) 'beige coloured'!! ;D lol! you can't get a proper colour called 'beige', but i suppose thatthey'd be talking about golden agoutis because they're kinda beige coloured lol ;D here's my spotted golden agouti... i mean, the gerbils in the petshop will be ALOT thinner than this guy! he's very overweight (lol) but the colouring is right (apart from the white spot on the head) ;D

Keebler was kind of a baige color... it could be anything! I wouldn't think of my Golden Agouti as baige, but maybe being Light Colorpoint makes a difference??

Beige isn't really very descriptive. There are several colors that might be thought of as "beige".
When I got my boy Philbert, the lady I got him from described him as "tan" on the phone, so I was expecting agouti. I went to pick him up and he turned out to be an argente cream...

I'd call an Argante "orange" not "tan"! Too funny.
Thanks, that's Keebler on the right. He's a Siamese. Poor little guy died though... he was my first gerbie. There's a thread some place in the health section that talks about how my roomates put bleach into his waterbottle.....
So what color is this "baige" gerbil anyway??? Have you gone to look for yourself? I'm VERY curious!

I think "beige" would be a Siamese or a Schimmel.

I think Siamese... or maybe my spotted burmese... she's like a dark baige... I wouldn't consider either one of my Shimmels to be baige... Triscuit Maple Tea Biscuit
