this morning when i got into college i found out that there only gerbil had died. The whole class was around and i could feel the lump forming in my throat lol. I thought oh god dont start cying in front of all these people. Luckily i was able to control myself. He was four years nearly five when he died. Sorry about this everyone but i just thought it was really sad.

Aww.. that is sad. But he lived a very good long gerbil life I'm a whimp too when it comes to sad things, when I worked in the clinics everytime I had to put a pet to sleep I would cry.

aww, it is very upsetting to lose a furry four legged friend but it sounds like he lead a nice long life

I'm sooo sorry to hear of your loss, Pixie! Reading your post made me cry. It's never easy to lose a four legged friend especially if you had him for a long time. (((HUGS)))

thanx guys. I know what you mean andrea i did a week work experiance at a vets clinic and watched them put 2 ferrets to sleep i cried for hours.
