er well she's kind of an adult now I guess.. 9 weeks..
But this particular pup likes to run up to her sisters and mother and start boxing them and chasing. Then they'd both run away. I figured it was normal during the pup wrestling stages..it was just playing. But it's the same gerbil doing it to the others..
Today she was doing it to the pregnant mother..and the mother was getting annoyed with her. Then a few mins later the mother was mounting/marking her....lol then more boxing...
Is this one just trying to claim dominance? My preg female isn't dominant so it's not a problem..but I don't want her stressed since she's due any day now..

Our do this lots, expecially the pups and when the pups have gone to new homes the male tends to get it from the female. I guess as long as there is not damage or going for necks its jst playing.

Indeed as long as you won't see any blood or fights it is good! Than you won't have to worry, in fact you cannot do anything about it. And about your pregnant female, I think she is dominant over that one, because she was mounting/marking that female. That is a sign of dominance! And it is normal that the mother is dominant, so no problem! Pups play and wrestle a lot, that is normal. That way they learn while playing how to be as an adult gerbil!
