And thanks to that, I can see their little differences here and there. For instance, Burrow will eat a sunflower seed in my hand while Nibbit keeps it in his teeth to eat when he gets somewhere safer. ;D

Most of the times you can see small diferences, like a larger scent gland, a littlebit darker or larger! And behavioural diverences of course as you mention! Every gerbils has a different character. But be aware that it can change! I had also the same thing. One male was very tame and come toward me when I was in their cage, and the other flee! However after some while both came toward me, and it was very hard to tell who was who! Luckely for me it were DEHs, and it was a father with son! The older DEHs have more white on its sides, and the father was dominant, so I could tell by the amount of white and the size of their scent gland who was who. But this is of course not always the case! ;D

lol it's very hard to tell our gerbils apart too! the othere is the easiest as she is larger and lighter but the other three all loolk the same!

They're both black but one of them, Nibbit, has a much longer white bib thing and also has more white on his paws.
