Is this ok I have two male's they are getting along fine in a 25 or it may be a 30 gal tank, would it be O.K. To put in a female? After indroducing of course, Or would it bring fighting between the male's like it does with mice?

It won't work. The males will fight to the death over dominance and who gets to mate with the female.

it's generally recommended in cpativity to have one fem to one male two males to one fem is certainly possible but not recomended I would stick to the 1:1 method.

Well, I'm sure the two males wouldn't like to be split up. Maybe you should introduce a different male to your female?

The 2 males are already clanned and bonded, should just leave them and get another male if you're going to start breeding. Or if it's a particular male you wanted to breed because of the color or whatever, then you'd still have to get another male to put with the other one...which would be probably be a pain to do. I'd say leave them together and just get another male for the female..

Females would kill eachother over the males and males would kill eachother over the females. Then the males and females would probably fight eachother over who gets to dominate who. Any smaller petshops near you? They're usually more breed worthy than Petsmart or Petco gerbils. Or a breeder. Plus you'd be able to get a male and female.. put the female with one of your other males and then the 2 males together so they won't be inbred.. And Petco sells both males and females. Petsmart is retarded about that.

Nope well we have Petland but that store is so terrible they are so abusive to their animal's :-\ The gerbil's there look terrible and they put a great dane in a friggin' yorkie's cage!!! All animal's there are evil.... beside's the macaw that sucker's smart but yeah I personally like Petsco and Petsmart that's where I got these gerbil's from my orange spot one is from Petsmart and my silk gray one is from Petco .. Petco told me it's a female but it was a male lol< One thing is strange... Petmart's go by this weird thing.. One petsmart only has female fancy mice, gerbils ect, .. the other one only has males.... kinda strange , I don't have anymore room for more gerbil's these two are currently in a 25 gal and the 4 mice are split up in group's of two in 10 gal cages... I like for them to have lots of room lol

Kenshin,
You could put one male with the female (after proper introduction) then when they have pups, put the male pup in with the lonely male. If you want, you can go get a tank at Walmart for $9.48US. Then put in the sole male. You would then have pups and then you would not have to worry about leaving the other one alone for too long!
If you do put in the female with the male, you might be surprised and end up with 2 dead males!! That won't help you breed either. Females are more aggressive than males by far. Or as others have said, you will end up with one dead male from fighting.
PetSmart does the Male/Female thing at different stores to prevent having babies. I think it is a good practice. With the turn over in staff and the gender confusion among pups, it is better that the be separated by store as opposed to cage!!
Good luck.
