Just want to say that, today, my shy gerbil Oscar,who doesn't want to come out of the cage, well he just climbed out of the cage door and into my hands! And I put him back after a few seconds. I think the motivation was sunflower seeds. Anyway, it was really strange. Maybe he sensed that I'm in a good mood today? (Hope you're not tired of hearing about my gerbils)

Glad he came out.It doesn't matter what his motivation was, (you did reward him for coming out of his cage didn't you!!!),as long as he enjoyed the experience,he'll do it again. Of course we're not tired of hearing about your gerbils . lyd

Who could be tired of hearing about a gerbil ;D Glad to here about your good news:) The new babies are very friendly and the white one(formaly known at Snowie) is know named Emmie:) After my 6 yr old niece:) She really wants a gerbil,but she'll just have to come to my house to play with Emmie and Dusty:) ~Kate
