hi all, last night sadly my 1 year old albino gerbil died. the female left alone is 5 months old if my freind still has her brother which are the same age as the female. if i get 1 of her brothers will they fight or breed together? please help and reply asap. for michael

despite being siblings they are also strangers they would fight unless proper intros where done and yes if you do get them to live together they will breed brother sister pairings are inbreeding and highly unadvisable

Hey Michael,
I am sorry to hear about your loss. It is always sad when a loved one dies.
Yes, your gerbil will fight unless you do a proper introduction with a split cage. Also if you get her brother, they will breed and the pups would be inbred. If they are first generation inbreeds, that might be okay.
You might consider getting a young same sex pup and you may not need a split introduction. You can look for breeders on AGS or NGS websites.
