I have two unrelated females living together. Juliet is a year old this month and Raven will be a year old in June. I introduced them last July/August when Raven was about 8 weeks and Juliet about 12 weeks, using the split cage method. I had them in an 8gallon tank joined onto a 3 gallon tank for awhile. They didn't like that much and got a bit territorial over the different tanks. I put them in a 22 gallon tank and have had no problems since. Today however Juliet was eating food and Raven tried to steal it off her as she does however Juliet got a bit brassed off and they started squabbling, they got into that stance just before they have a ball fight then Raven got the message and ran off to the other end of the tank to leave Juliet to eat the food by herself. They still sleep together as normal. Is this just a normal squabble? Ive never seen any of my other pairs do this. They haven't drawn blood. I'm guessing just keep an eye on them for now?

I'd say it was normal, but keep an eye on them if they have a history of declanning.
