i currently have two gerbils in a cage together after a water intro. everything is fine so far, but how long should i wait untill i can be sure that they will be fine together?

I was worried about mine for the first four or five days.. If they seem to be sleeping together and grooming each other, you should be OK, I think...

well, unfortinatly, i had to sepperate them last night, before this got posted. but thanks for your input anyway.

Well personally I'd keep a close eye on them for a day. If they seem fine, then check up on them every few hours for the next few days. It worked for me. 3 hours they tolerated each other. 3 days, full acceptance. Now, inseparable.
