Well a few months ago i posted some of my gerbil´s photos, then i realized they were female and male.... Now almost 3 months passed and I cant see any pups!! Its really weird cause they were supposed to mate but nothing happened!! I cant complain cause I really dont want them to have pups after the pet store told me that both were females  but i really wonder why they didnt mate, its really weird cause as far as i know gerbils reproduce so fast and easy!! by the way! im pretty sure they are female and male plssss HELP ME!! |

Thanks I'm getting ready to buy some gerbils for the first time and was just getting ready to poon how to sex gerbils now I don't have to haha thanks a lot!

I have two almost 9 week old babies. At this age do they have their adult parts so that you can easily identify their sexes? The individual I got them from told me they were both females. I just want to check myself so that I can be sure. Don't want any surprise litters.

I have supposedly two 4 week old females. I just noticed today that "Juliet" has kind of a large scent gland. Checked her underside, and was sure it was a boy. While this thread helped, it made me even more confused. First post made me think female, but after the first post on page 4 or 5, (pic of the gerbil with pink genitalia) I honestly don't know anymore. If Juliet is a Jeremy, I'm in big trouble. I want to check my other gerbil Precious, but she's a nibbler. (I'm still taming them, they come from a good mom and pop pet store where we got my boyfriend's chinchilla from.)
UPDATE: They both look the same down there, so they're same-sex? I'll try to post pics to verify, but they can be squirmy.

Hey, I'm really unsure of my Ami's gender. I adopted a female who came in to the store with babies, but now I think I see some boy parts. If I post a picture on this forum, would anyone be able to help me?
