I did the morning swap over this morning and when I got back from the school run, cookie had built her nest a little bit further away from the divider 😱 peanut is still nesting next to the divider- should I be worried ?

I wouldn't be too worried but I would watch what happens with the next swap - if she destroys Peanut's nest that wouldn't be good. She might have just fancied a change.

Peanut knows what she wants then!
I would proceed with the introduction as planned if all continues to be well.

So just a couple of questions in preparation for tomorrow! I’m going to take the divider out in the morning - do I need to wait till they are awake or just remove it wether they are awake or asleep ? Am I only to intervene if there’s a serious fight ? Minor scuffles and play fighting ok ? Then I just have to sit and watch them ! Can I give them cardboard or anything ? Or nothing at all ?

You can wake them up, but I'd give them a few minutes to wake up properly before removing the divider (rather than yanking it out when they're still asleep in their nests). It's unlikely you would really have scuffles with a pup introduction. If when the divider is removed, Cookie immediately goes to pin Peanut down, you need to separate them (some thick gloves are useful to have on hand for this). Peanut might be quite interested in sniffing Cookie all over. Cookie will probably be interested in sniffing Peanut too, including sniffing her bottom, and she might also want to groom her (Peanut might squeak) and scent mark her. If you see them pressing their sides together with their backs arched and neither looks likely to back down (not likely with a pup introduction), I would use the rigid object to push them apart, and if that keeps happening, you might need to put the split back in. For the first fifteen minutes or so, yes I would just sit and watch them. After that, if they're doing well and there's no tension, you can give them some cardboard to shred or something to eat. Once you see them make a nest together and snuggle down together to sleep, your work is pretty much done but still be close by for the rest of the day. This is a video of a pup introduction going well: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z2ucxBCAI9U

Right ok ! Thanks for this ! So if cookie pins peanut down - separate them as in put the split back in ? Or just separate them and leave them together to see what happens ? Aww that video is so cute, I’m praying for an introduction like this !! I’m so excited but nervous at the same time !

Yes, if almost the first thing Cookie does is pin Peanut down, I would put them back in the split because that's a red flag that she isn't going to be friendly.
If they've been together a little while, and Peanut is acting a bit annoying, and Cookie pushes her down in response to that, I wouldn't really be worried as long as that's it.

It looks good. Peanut seems to be a bit nervous around Cookie, but Cookie seems fine which is the main thing. At this point I would start giving them food, cardboard or nesting material (one thing at a time) to help them settle down.
