could they be cp REH? i know that cp REH are classed as REW, but would they have any colour at all? and in their 2nd moult, may have got darker? i dunno, i'm not that great with colours

Those look like Red Eyed Schimmels to me! Very nice, and very rare, too. Were they adults when you got them?

but don't schimmels fade from orange to white? and ellorie said that they were pure white when she got them? maybe the answer is to breed them? they are gorgeous gerbils whatever colour they are! ;D

they were 7 weeks when i got them and they were pure white .

next to the genetic code of the gerbil... they get a little darker (more yellow) when they use sandbaths often. My gerbil is an algerijn and he has now a colour thats more dark then in the beginning. It's often seen at light coloured gerbils, because most of the time there s some urine in the sandbaths..
